Farewell Germany/Karlsruhe/Family/Friends

In about 13 hours I will enter my plane and finally be on my way to Japan. That means for me its time to recap my last few days in Germany. The most important thing surely were the 2 farewell parties I attended. One was my own at my parents place, the second one organized by Karri, my favourite finn and ex-flatmate.

Thanks for everybody that came, you made that evening so great! The biggest surprise definately was that two of my primary schoolmates turned up to pay a visit (Good luck and have fun on your trip to Australie, Katha =).

T-8 days

9 more days until my arrival with my new family in Japan.

8 more days until my departure from family and friends.

2 more exams.

1 more farewell party.

And a lot of anticipation on my side. Neither did I have the time to get my luggage done, nor did I move out yet. Theres one thing left to say: “Don’t panic”

In slightly unrelated news: another heavy earthquake in the north of Japan I hope nobody died and the damage is low. The north of Japan is, compared to the south, not very densily populated but the earthquake could even be felt in Tokyo as I heard.

Hello World!

This will be the first post on my first blog. It’s already late so i wont be blogging much tonight.

On here i will keep everyone updated on my preperations for, and my actual trip to Japan! It will (hopefully) server as a kind of diary for me afterwards,  and everybody of my friends is invited to read whats happening to me and comment

More later after i get some sleep.  Important stuff to do tomorrow: Send stuff to Japan so Yuji ( my super helpful TN Manager )  can request a Visa for me.
